Sports Turf Renovation & Maintenance Operator

We require an experienced Sports Turf Renovation & Maintenance Operator to operate our fleet of sports turf equipment throughout Victoria. Our workshop is in Craigieburn, 45 minutes west of Melbourne. Our fleet of equipment is broad and varied including, trucks, tractors, excavators, dozers, tractors, bob cats, etc of varying makes and models, in addition to numerous turf renovation equipment such as corers, scarifies, vertidrained, amazon, earthquake, and mowers.  

Applicants must have the ability to work independently and as part of a team, follow safety procedures and can work flexible hours. Working hours are Monday to Friday with occasional weekend work during seasonal times.

Other skills sought include:

Essential:

• Necessary experience operating a range of ground maintenance plant and equipment.
• Basic mechanical knowledge
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Ability to work without direct supervision.
• WHS Construction Induction Certificate (White Card) willing to obtain
• WWC (Working with Children) willing to obtain

Desired but no essential

• Current Medium rigid truck licence – or willing to obtain
• First Aid Certificate
• Chemical Applicators Licence.
• Certificate 3 in Turf Management

Salary and workplace conditions negotiable depending on experience and skill set.
